Terms of use

Calculator for Grading is a free tool. Using it means you accept these terms.

The service

The site calculates percentages and letter grades from the numbers you enter, with the scale, rounding and decimals you choose. It is free, needs no account, and may change or be taken offline at any time.

Check before you record

We test the math carefully, but the tool is provided "as is", without warranty. Grading policies differ between schools and districts. Check the scale and rounding rule against your school's policy and confirm any grade before you record or report it.

Liability

We are not liable for decisions made on the basis of results from this site, except where the law does not allow liability to be excluded, such as for intent or gross negligence.
